Under the streets of a magic city |
|
Crystal-clear, a pyramid sparkles in the Cour Napoléon. Beneath it a new piece of subterranean Paris has be created, which reeks of noble history or hamburger fat according to personal taste. The marble hall underneath this glass edifice is as unobtrusive as the Lobby of a 5 star hotel, with shopping malls and meeting rooms branching off it. Beneath the vast courtyard of the Louvre an unbelievable subterranean expanse has been created. For those who prefer something less bombastic, their taste is also catered for, as beneath the Hôtel du Sully or the Cour Carrée, some 800 year old fortress walls have been uncovered and are now bathed in magical light by architects. |
